Sign up now to participate in our Whopp™ $50,000 3-Point Shot Basketball Tournament. We are only excepting a certain number of registrants. The event will be announced at a later date at least 90 days after the closing of registration. 

This event will be held at the American Sports Center in Anaheim CA. 

A $95 registration fee is required to participate in this event, however, no payment is due at this time. Once we receive a certain number of  email info all contacts will be given the opportunity to pay the $95 enrollment fee. 

The tournament will consist of three groups Men, Women 18+ & 50+ group. There will be a total of 2,000 participants divided equally into 10 brackets. Each bracket will host 200 participants.

The top three scorers in each bracket will advance to the finals to compete for the Grand Prize. Also, the highest scorer of each bracket will receive a $500 bonus and will automatically be placed in the finals. Women and contestants age 50 and older will each be placed in separate brackets to ensure at least six women and six  players over the age of 50 make it to the finals and compete for the Grand Prize. A tie-breaking system will also be implemented in the event contestants end up with the same score. 

All non winners will automatically be entered into our $1,000 drawing with two lucky person receiving a $500 gift card of their choice.

Easy Qualifying Rounds: 
Each contestant will be given the chance to make as many 3-point shots as possible from the top of the key at a range of 19ft 9 inches before missing five shots in any order.

Example: If you make 3 baskets, then miss 2,  make 4 more shots then miss 3 you will be given a score of 7. The idea is to make as many baskets as you can before missing a total of five shots. 

However, in the finals completers will then compete in a round that will last 1 minute with a maximum of 25 balls to be shot. (5) racks each with (5) basketballs will be placed around the perimeter of the high school/collegiate 3-point line (19 feet, 9 inches). 

The racks will be placed as follows: right baseline, right-key, top of the key, left-key, and left baseline. Each made basket will count as 1 point. The last ball in each rack is the "Whopp" ball (different color). Each successful shot with a "Whopp" ball is worth 2 points. The maximum amount of points for each 25 shot round is 30 points. 

Cash prizes are given to the top ten highest scores, only in the final round of the competition. Trophies are also given out to each bracket winner, and to the first, second and third place overall finishers. A tie-breaking system will be implemented in the event that one or more contestants end up with the same score.

OK Pops... time to come out of retirement! 

We welcome all athletes men and women over the age of fifty to compete in our tournament.  So go to your closet and dust off your original Chuck Taylor's and show up to the big dance. Our tournament format will  guarantee that at least twelve women and over fifty participates reach the finals.
